The American Canoe Association Ocean Racing Committee is currently seeking proposals from Local Organizing Committees (LOCs) to host the 2027 USA Canoe Ocean Racing (COR) National Championships.
Local Organizing Committees are encouraged to leverage their existing competitions and/or race courses, however proposing a standalone championship event is acceptable as well.
Selected LOCs will receive guidance and support from the ACA via the Ocean Racing Committee to promote and produce safe, challenging, and memorable experiences for participants and personnel.
If you're interested in hosting the third annual USA COR National Championships, detailed information can be found here.
Note: All USA COR National Championships competitions are a guaranteed minimum A1 athlete classification scenario.
Looking further ahead for Nationals? The Ocean Racing Committee typically selects the USA COR National Championships host in the Fall of each calendar year for the following year, however proposals for future years can be submitted at any point in time. General expectation of timing for hosting Nationals is mid-July to mid-October, with scheduling consideration for Continental Championships and World Championships.
