ABOUT PADDLE 2 FITNESS

Spanning a career of over 20 years in both sprint kayaking and surf life saving, Julian Norton-Smith is proud to have been named as one of Australia’s top coaches and athletes.  Julian started Paddle 2 Fitness in 2008, which continues to grow with new athletes, surf clubs and sporting bodies seeking professional assistance. 

The P2F philosophy focuses on helping athletes better understand the range of skills needed to become efficient performers.  We believe it is essential for our athletes to build a strong aerobic system where the body learns to burn fat as the main energy source based on Phil Maffetone's 180 Formula (MAF). 

Our training programs are world class but more importantly our coaching philosophy, principles, and the time we spend teaching skill development with all levels of athletes, is what allows us to stand out from the crowd.
